2001 Conference Details
The
National SEIU
African
American
Caucus (AFRAM) will convene our 5th
National
Leadership Development Conference & Election of National
Officers from
April 6 thru April 8, 2001,
in Newark.
New Jersey. Our conference will be held at the Newark Airport Holiday Inn. 160 Frontage Road, Newark, NJ. We have secured a room rate of $89.00 + tax per night (single & double occupancy). The hotel will provide free Airport Shuttle Service, and free Hotel guest parking. Rooms can be reserved after January 1, 2001 by calling 1-973-589-5000. The
Conference Registration fee is $35.00,
which includes all Workshops,
the Award Luncheon, and 2001 AFRAM Membership Dues
($12.00). We
are planning an exciting conference, which will include a Friday afternoon Designer
Outlet Shopping Spree (Secaucas, New Jersey). We are
soliciting
financial contributions
from all SEIU Locals (Sponsors $1,000.00 and
Patrons $500.00)
to offset the conference costs.
Many Locals
are currently developing their 2001
annual budgets.
We are urging you to
